Access to the roof lantern smoke vents in the Theatres is problematic. This has historically been achieved using ladders and balancing on beams using harnesses. Risk assessment has identified the need for better means of access, Stage Services London Ltd are now installing access platforms into theatres to make contact less hazardous.
We manufacture and install platforms to the lanterns covering the whole outside edge and through the centre of the lantern for optimum access. The platform includes all handrail, kick rail and access cat ladders manufactured in our workshop and the supply and fitting of key clamp fixings to the customers’ requirements.
